On Day Two of Webmaster World's Pubcon 2009in Las Vegas this year, Chris Winfield, CEO of 10e20 moderated a panel, "Social Media & Press Relations" that I participated in with Guillaume Bouchard, CEO of NVI; Pat Strader, Founder & Managing Partner of Matterhorn Marketing; and Joanna Lord, CMO of YourJobStop.com.
After Guillaume, Joanna and Pat spent the first 3/4 of the session discussing best practices when it comes to public relations and social media, I closed out the panel by giving the audience a taste of what happened with Palm, Inc. when they suffered a PR nightmare in relation to an event I created, preDevCamp, earlier this year with whurley and Dan Rumney (aka Dan Crumb).
